  • What excitement vs. anxiety patterns typically emerge?
  • Based on the price point and problem type, are customers usually in “buying mode” or “buyer’s remorse mode”?

Logical Problem Evolution:

  • Given what my product solves, what related problems typically become more obvious?
  • What implementation challenges would logically create new needs?
  • Based on purchase psychology research, when are customers most receptive to additional offers?

Base your analysis on established consumer psychology principles and the specific context I provided.


Prompt 3: Identify Upsell Resistance Points

Map the psychological barriers preventing additional purchases:

Main Resistance Types:

  • “I just bought something” mentality
  • “Let me try this first” thinking
  • Budget concerns after initial purchase
  • “This feels like a sales trick” skepticism
  • Decision fatigue and overwhelm

For each barrier, note what would neutralize or overcome it.


Prompt 4: Create the Value Logic Framework

Develop the framework that makes upsells feel like intelligent decisions:

Enhancement Logic: How does the upsell make the main product more effective? Timing Logic: Why now instead of later? Value Multiplication: How does 1+1=3 in this scenario? Risk Reduction: How does this reduce their failure risk?

Present as a persuasion framework that feels helpful, not manipulative.


Prompt 5: Design the Momentum Strategy

Create strategy for maintaining buying momentum without triggering resistance:

Momentum Preservation: How do you keep their “yes” energy alive? Confidence Building: How do you reinforce their smart decision? Future Visualization: What story do you tell about enhanced results? Ethical Boundaries: What lines won’t you cross?

For Top 5 Products, provide:

  • Overall ranking score and reasoning

  • Customer objections you’d expect and how to overcome them
  • Revenue projection based on my current business
  • Implementation timeline estimate

Strategic Recommendations:

  • Which should I create first and why?
  • What’s the optimal launch sequence?
  • Any seasonal timing considerations?
 

Prompt 9: Create Product Development Roadmap

Based on your rankings, create a strategic implementation plan:
